Bhutan Cancer Society (BCS) is a public benefit organization registered under the CivilSociety Organization Authority (Reg no.
CSOA/PBO-337).BCS was officially launched by HRH Ashi Kesang Wangmo Wangchuck on 4thFebruary coinciding with the World Cancer Day 2015.
BCS is the only non-profitorganization established the benefit of cancer patient, caregiver and general populationin Bhutan.BCS primarily works under three major pillars: Care Support for cancer patient andcaregivers, Cancer Prevention and Advocacy and Cancer Research.BCS provides palliative care and support to the terminally ill cancer patients as well asthe caregivers beginning diagnosis and continuing through treatment, follow- up- careand the and of life.
One a need base, we also provide information on nutrition, postchemo care counseling to cancer patient and caregivers in addition to financial supportfor improvised cancer patients to avail treatment services in Thimphu and India.
